The COVID-19 public health crisis is unlike
anything we have experienced before, and we hope you are taking care of
yourselves and families.

The news about COVID-19, social distancing, and quarantine is especially hard for those living with mental health conditions. We know first-hand how unsettling this is for so many in our communities.
We also know that the necessary moves to temporarily halt the support groups, classes, and other services offered by our local NAMI California affiliates is a loss to those who count on this vital support from us. We are in touch with NAMI National and our local affiliates about other ways we can offer support, including virtual support groups. We hope to keep you posted with email and social media messages, and we also have a page on our website that we are keeping updated with the latest news, information, and resources, including mental health guidance.
As always, let’s all take steps to support one
another and check in on our loved ones and neighbors while heeding the
recommendations of our public health officials. Community love and support will
help us through this uncertain and challenging time. We are stronger together.
