Community Opportunity: Hearing in Sacramento Dec. 9

NAMI California is looking for interested individuals to join us in attending an informational hearing on the Mental Health Services Act (Prop 63) on Monday, December 9 at the California State Capitol in Sacramento.

Conversations are ongoing around the use of MHSA funds, as we’ve seen with the multitude of legislative proposals attempting to amend the Act. We are asking community members to come out and share their lived experience. Has Prop. 63 impacted you and your family? We hope you will join us in helping to protect Prop. 63 and future MHSA allocations.

Date and Time: Monday, December 9, 2019, 1-4 pm

Location: State Capitol Building, Sacramento, CA (Room 437)

Topic: Informational hearing on mental health funding, with a focus on the future of Prop 63

A limited amount of travel reimbursements will be provided to those that attend and express need. We are hoping for a large turnout, but if you are unable to attend in person, there will be a livestream.
