NAMI California would like to thank you for your support and interest in volunteering for the NAMI California Conference 2020 in Sacramento, CA.  

Listed below are the Minimum Qualifications to be our volunteers:
– All volunteers must be at least 18 years of age
– Volunteers agree to serve as a volunteer for a minimum period of 2-5 hours per shift
– Volunteers must be able to provide self-transportation to the conference for their shift.
– Volunteers can only assist one day and not both

NAMI California is looking for a National Anthem Singer!

NAMI California is excited to announce we are in search of a lucky volunteer to sing the National Anthem at the opening of the conference to be held on June 2, 2020 at the Hyatt Regency Sacramento in Sacramento, CA. Our selected singer will also receive free conference admission for one day.

To be eligible to sing the national anthem at the opening of the ceremony, candidates must:
• Be 18 years of age or older
• Have had previous experience singing the national anthem in front of a live audience
• Provide a video recording of their national anthem performance for review
• Submit page 2 of the application to Serena Durand at Serena@namica.org

NAMI California is looking for Spanish and Chinese (Mandarin) interpreters for both days of the conference, June 2 and 3.
If you are interested in volunteering as an interpreter, please fill out our interest form. Volunteers will receive a free half day of the conference for every half day worked. Interpreters for other languages may be added based on need.
