NAMI San Joaquin County is a grassroots family, client, and community member organization, dedicated to improving the lives of people with mental health challenges and the lives of their families and friends. These challenges are known as neurobiological brain disorders or psychiatric disabilities.


Our key strategic goals reflect our commitment to building capacity within our service areas – the High Desert communities.  Our strategic plan includes initiatives for outreach, support, and education to build our capacity, connection, and growth.


NAMI Alameda County is a grassroots, family, and consumer self-help support and advocacy organization dedicated to improving the lives of people with severe mental illnesses, i.e.: schizophrenia, bipolar disorder (manic depression), clinical depression, panic disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), and PTSD.


NAMI Alameda County South’s Mission is to empower individuals with mental illness and their caregivers to facilitate recovery to the extent of their ability.


NAMI Amador is a grassroots, family and consumer self-help support and advocacy organization dedicated to improving the lives of people with severe mental illnesses, i.e., schizophrenia, bipolar disorder (manic depression), clinical depression, panic disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), and PTSD.


NAMI Antelope Valley (NAMI-AV) is the Antelope Valley affiliate of the national and state-level NAMI organizations, serving the northern Los Angeles County area. NAMI-AV is a nonprofit California corporation dedicated to improving the quality of life for those living with mental illness and their families and friends through support, education, and advocacy. All involved are welcome to attend NAMI-AV meetings and classes to support those living with mental illness and to learn about and deal with issues that concern them.

NAMI Merced County empowers diverse communities affected by mental illness through on-going support, education, and advocacy. We provide educational presentations, support groups, and referral services for people living with a mental illness and their families.


NAMI Monterey County offers hope and reduction of stigma associated with mental illness through education, advocacy, service access, and support for families and their loved ones living with a mental illness. To this end, the agency seeks to enhance the quality and fulfillment of their lives through wellness and recovery.


NAMI Mt. San Jacinto is a grassroots organization of families and individuals whose lives have been affected by serious mental illness. We advocate for lives of quality and respect, without discrimination and stigma, for all our constituents. We provide leadership in advocacy, legislation, policy development, education and support throughout the Hemet, San Jacinto Valley and the Inland Empire.

At the heart of NAMI’s mission are our grassroots and the sharing of information with people with mental illness, their families, friends, mental health professionals, and the general public. NAMI strives to offer hope, reform, and health to our American community through support, education, and advocacy efforts.
