NAMI On Campus High School

NAMI On Campus High School (NCHS) Clubs are student-led clubs that raise mental health awareness and reduce stigma on campus through peer-led activities and education. Student Leaders will be empowered with toolkits, materials, templates, and resources to make running the club a fun and educational process. NAMI Mental Health 101​

Mental Health 101 is a program devoted to giving individuals an opportunity to learn about mental illness through an informative presentation, short video, and personal testimonies that represent a variety of cultures, beliefs, and values.

Family to Family is a free, 8-week course for families, partners and friends of individuals with serious mental illness taught by more than 3,500 trained NAMI family members and caregivers of individuals living with mental illness.

Peer to Peer is a free, 8-week, peer-led, recovery education course open to any person with serious mental illness.

NAMI Family Support Group Program is a free 90 minute monthly meeting of family and loved ones of individuals with mental illness where family members can talk frankly about their challenges and help one another through their wisdom gained by experience and self-education.

NAMI Connection is a free, weekly 90-minute recovery support group for people living with mental illness where people learn from one another’s experience, share coping strategies and offer mutual encouragement and understanding.

NAMI Basics is a free, 6-week, peer-directed education program developed specifically for parents and other family caregivers of children and adolescents who have either been diagnosed with serious mental illness/serious emotional disturbance or are experiencing symptoms but have not yet been diagnosed.

NAMI Provider Education Program is a free 5-session course for mental health workers and professionals. Through the course providers learn what it is like to live with mental illness from the individual and family perspective.

NAMI Homefront is a class for families, caregivers and friends of military service members and veterans with mental health conditions. The course is designed specifically to help these families understand those challenges and improve their ability to support their service member or veteran.

NAMI Hearts+Minds is a program that educates and empowers individuals to better manage their health, mentally and physically. This free education program is available as a full one-day session, or as a multi-session course.

In Our Own Voice is a unique public education program in which two trained speakers share compelling personal stories about living with mental illness and achieving recovery.

Ending the Silence is a free, 50-minute presentation designed to give students, staff, and or families an opportunity to learn about mental illness through an informative PowerPoint and short videos.

NAMI Smarts for Advocacy is a hands-on advocacy training program that helps people living with mental illness, friends and family transform their passion and lived experience into skillful grassroots advocacy.

NAMI Sharing Your Story with Law Enforcement (SYSLE) is a presentation program that prepares individuals and family members to share their stories of lived experience with mental illness to a law enforcement audience, such as during Crisis Intervention Team (CIT) training, or other events where mental illness and related topics are featured.

NAMI Family & Friends is a 4-hour seminar that informs and supports people who have loved ones with a mental health condition.

NAMI Sharing Hope and NAMI Compartiendo Esperanza are three-part video series programs that explores the journey of mental wellness in Black communities and Latinx communities through dialogue, storytelling and a guided discussion.
