NAMI California and Signature Support Groups
NAMI COPE Law Enforcement Facilitator Training
NAMI COPE is a resilience-building peer support program designed specifically for law enforcement. NAMI COPE was adapted, in a culturally responsive way for police officers, from the existing model of NAMI Connection Recovery Peer Support Group. This 90-minute support group will be led by a law enforcement peer support facilitator and is completely confidential. NAMI CA is looking for 2-3 LE officers per agency to become a Leader.
Getting Started!
- Agency Leadership must first complete the NAMI CA- NAMI COPE Agency Application Form
- Agency identifies and approves LE officers/dispatchers with lived experience navigating Mental Health Services
- LE officers/dispatchers completed the NAMI COPE Support Group Facilitator Application
- Approved Officers will join a 16-hour NAMI COPE Training

NAMI California Youth Programs
NAMI On Campus High School (NCHS) Virtual Trainings
Participants must be conditional or returning NCHS clubs to participate. All clubs must attend with at least three members and their advisor for the full duration of the training to receive credit and become official NCHS Clubs. All trainings are scheduled for 4:30pm-7:00pm both days unless stated otherwise below.
